KATHMANDU: The 17th round of prime ministerial election earlier scheduled for Monday has been postponed to November 19.
A meeting of Business Advisory Committee held at the Constituent Assembly premises took a decision to this effect. Law Minister Prem Bahadur Singh after the meeting confirmed of the postponement of the meeting to the new date.
Earlier the meeting of the three major political parties held at the Gokarna Resort had decided to defer today's PM election.
The next meeting of the BAC will convene on November 19, the date on which the government has planned to introduce the full-fledged budget..
