SAPTARI: A fire resulting from a fire-cracker here this evening has gutted 14 houses of five families in Kalyanpur of Saptari.
The fire that first originated from the house of Nazeer Miyan of Kalyanpur-2 spread to engulf the neighbouring houses. Property worth Rs. Two million was reportedly damaged in the fire.
The fire was put out by police and locals with the help of a fire-tender from Rajbiraj Municipality.
