UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal said on Saturday that the fracas in parliament on Friday occurred because the caretaker government went against the interim constitution. Emerging from a meeting with President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav in the Capital, Dahal claimed that the Maoist lawmakers protested because the government tried bring a full budget without consensus. He added that the government should be changed for being so irresponsible. Dahal said the president and he discussed the incident in the House.
