DOLAKHA: Former crown princess Himani Shah is returning to Kathmandu cutting short her 10-day visit to Dolakha on Saturday.
The former crown prince had arrived on Wednesday in Dolakha to conduct various development programmes through the Himani Trust, an NGO, during her stay in the district.
“Postponing all the prpgrammes, she early today morning instructed us to make preparations to return to the capital,” said security sources close to her, adding that she would return at 10:30 am today.
Himani curtailed the visit after office bearer of the trust and former princess Prerana, former royal family members Dilasha, Sitashma and Puja Shahi decided to return to Kathmandu, according to the sources.
Archana Sharma, a member and the legal adviser of the Himani Trust, informed the media over the phone that Shah is returning owing to her own personal reasons.
