AMLEKHGUNJ, JAN 18 -
Three people have been killed and two other seriously injured when a truck collided head-on a car at Amlekhgunj on Tuesday.
The truck (Na 4 Kha 2015) heading for Hetauda from Pathlaiya collided with the car (Na 4 Cha 9275) at one this morning.
The deceased have been identified as car driver Dinesh Acharya, 40, Umanga Gautam, 13 and Pratistha Manandhar, 17. Acharya died on the spot.
It has been reported that Umang died while undergoing treatment at the Bharatpur Hospital and Pratistha at Birgunj Hospital.
Injured Nisha Manandhar, 9, and Prabesh Acharya, 9, have been referred to Kathmandu.
Meanwhile, Simara police has impounded the truck and its driver.
