KATHMANDU: Damak branch of NIC Bank paid Rs 100,000 to Bish Maya Dhimal as insurance claim on the death of her husband Gopal Prasad Dhimal under NIC Life Savings Account scheme. Branch manager Sujan C Rai handed over the cheque to Bish Maya Dhimal on Thursday, said a press release from the bank. NLS Account features free life and accident insurance among others and can be opened with Rs 10,000 that attracts up to five per cent per annum.
