KATHMANDU: Speaker Subas Nembang said on Wednesday the ongoing election process ended automatically with NC deciding to pull out of the prime ministerial race. He said Thursday’s House would decide on amending the existing parliamentary regulations. It is expected that the parties would form a panel to amend the parliamentary regulations. The parties have, in principle, reached a ‘general understanding’ that the first two candidates would remain in the second or third run-off if the first round of election fails to elect one of the candidates when new process begins.
