KATHMANDU: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has increased load shedding to 12 hours a day with effect from Sunday.
According to the new load shedding schedule, NEA said that now the valley denizens will have to face power cuts of 84 hours per week.
The NEA has increased the load shedding hours from 74 hours per week citing depleting water level in hydro projects and rivers as the reason for the increased load shedding hours.
