KATHMANDU: Armed Police Force (APF) on Wednesday issued a warning to AIG Thakur Mohan Shrestha of departmental action.
He was accused of using infrastructure of the Force without prior permission. A team of three led by AIG Krishna Bahadur Bista has been formed to probe the incident.
APF warned Shrestha after he failed to give a satisfactory answer to the team three times.
Earlier the cabinet meet also directed the APF to take action against him. As per the provision a person given a warning is relieved of responsible duties and ineligible for any kind of promotion.
