KATHMANDU: The two-day National Management Convention organised by Management Association of Nepal (MAN) wrapped up today in capital by presenting awards to the best performing managers in Nepal for the year 2010.
MAN has awarded Barsha Shrestha, general manager of Clean Energy Development Bank and Birendra Bahadur Basnet, managing director of Buddha Air for their leadership. Basnet was awarded with the award for ‘Best Manager 2010’ and Shrestha was presented with the award for ‘Best Female Manager of the Year’.
The thirtieth national convention cum annual general meeting of MAN concluded following the two day comprehensive discussion on the topic of ‘Leadership for Performance.’ The event saw the participation of internationally recognised national level management experts, such as, Aquil Bursai, Rajiv Khurana, Prof Dr Vinayshil Gautam fro India and Dr Dinesh Pant, Prof Dr Pushkar Bajracharya, Dr Bimal Koirala among others.
