BHAKTAPUR: Former queen mother Ratna Rajya Devi Shah underwent surgery of one of her legs at the Bhaktapur Cancer Hospital on Sunday. She has been admitted there.
Though the hospital did not provide information in detail about her ailment, it said the doctors operated her leg.
Ratna is King Mahendra's widow.
All members of the royal family including her step son former king Gyanendra Shah visited her at the hospital.
