KATHMANDU: Former king Gyanendra Shah inaugurated Himani Trust in Hotel Soaltee Crown Plaza on Friday.
People close to the former royal family and almost all the royal family members attended the function.
The security in the premises was conspicuous by its small scale, making the former royals appear more like civilians.
The trust comprises seven members with Himani Shah, former crown princess as Chairperson. Prerana Shah is the vice chairperson, Pawana Saha holds the post of secretary, Sitasma treasurer and the executive members of the trust are Pooja Rajya Laxmi Shah, Dilasha Shah and Archana Sharma. Former queen Komal Rajya Laxmi Shah remains the caretaker of the trust.
