CIAA drags MJF lawmaker Yadav, eight others to court over misuse of diplomatic passport

The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) Tuesday filed cases against lawmaker Shiva Pujan Raya Yadav and eight others including three government officials at the Special Court on charges of misuse of diplomatic passport and bribery.

Immigration Department officials Devi Dutta Khatri, Ramesh Lamsal and computer operator Indra Sunuwar and five middlemen - Manoj Karki, Devendra Poudel, Santosh Uprety, Dil Bahadur Gharti and Gopal Baniya - were also dragged to the court along with the MJF lawmaker over the misuse of the red passport.
