KATHMANDU: Twenty Nepalis, including 12 students, are out of contact, following the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, according to different sources. According to an online media, nepaljapan.com, eight employees were working at different restaurants in the city of Sendai, which was destroyed by the tsunami that followed the quake. Kaji Sherpa, Tulsi Sherpa, Shiva Acharya, Babu Sapkota, Maya Gurung are among the people yet to come in touch. An Indian restaurant employee, Chudamani Sapkota, Yeti Restaurant’s owner Shraban (Manoj) Tulachan and his wife Mina Tulachan are also out of contact, according to the online media. Vice chairman of Japanese Language Teachers’ Association Nepal DP Aryal said 12 Nepali students studying Japanese language in Sendai had been out of contact since Friday.
