BAJURA: Health condition of Nandu Dadal (40), who is stranded in Kolti airport here due to the ongoing strike, has further deteriorated. Dadal of Gotri VDC, Bajura, has been fighting life and death battle for the last three days. With the strike, flights have been suspended, and her family has not been able to take her to Nepalgunj, the nearest town where she can get proper medical care. The agitating group, Karnali Rights Coordination Committee, that has enforced flight suspension reached an agreement with the Civil Aviation Office on Friday to let resume the flights so that Dadal could be airlifted to Nepalgunj, but planes didn’t land in Kolti airport. Dhanraj Regmi, chief of Civil Aviation Office, Kolti, said plane didn’t land at Kolti airport though the agitators had pledged not to disrupt the flight. Kolti healthpost had referred Dadal to Nepalgunj hospital after her foetus was found dead inside her womb. Dadal’s husband, Bhaire, has been running from pillar to post to save his wife.
