KATHMANDU: The body of widely-acclaimed novelist and politician Diamond Shumsher Rana is kept in Nepal Academy, Kamaladi for last tribute. His mortal body is kept there from 8 AM to 12 noon on Saturday.
His last rites will be performed in Aryaghat at Pashupati today, according to his family sources.
He breathed his last yesterday due to heart attack at the age of 94. Afflicted from diabetes, Rana died in Norvic hospital in Thapathali in course of treatment.
Author of historical novels such as 'Seto Bagh', 'Basanti', Rana had played leading role in the democratic movement of 1950 (2007 BS).
