Tara Air crash victims' bodies brought to Capital

KATHMANDU: All 22 bodies of the Tara Air victims including three crew members have been brought to the Capital on Thursday afternoon.

The borides have been sent to Bir Hospital for postmortem soon after being airlifted to the Tribhuvan International airport in a Nepal Army helicopter.

A Bhutanese team led by the cabinet secretary, which arrived in the capital today, informed that the bodies of the Bhutanese will be sent home on Friday after postmortem.

Three crew members captain Anup Raj Shakya, co-pilot Shachendra Shrestha and air hostess Sudiksha Gurung and 19 passengere, all of whom were Bhutanese, were killed in the air crash.

The Tara Air plane that had gone missing since Wednesday afternoon was found crashed at a remote location of Okhaldhunga district.
