Bhatbhateni, one of the leading departmental stores in the capital, is all set to open its third store in Koteshwor, Kathmandu with an initial investment of over Rs. 500 million.
The store which is opening its doors for general people from Saturday will offer some 100,000 products from 600 domestic and international suppliers under the same roof, said Min Bahadur Gurung, managing director of the Bhatbhateni group.
More than 1,000 people are directly employed in the chain of departmental stores owned by Bhatbhateni group and it has been making business transaction worth over Rs. 4 billion yearly, said Gurung.
The Bhatbhateni is also set to open more stores in Boudha and Pulchowk on July 12 and 15th respectively.
Similarly, it is also planning to expand its business outside valley in Pokhara by the end of 2011. nepalnews.com
