Copter force lands in Kalikot

SURKHET, July 6: A Fishtail Air helicopter en route to Nepalgunj from Mugu force landed at Rangeli of Kalikot

The aircraft, 9N AWI, force landed at 1:30 p.m. after technical problems. Although the tail part of the helicopter is damaged, the crew and four passengers were not injured.


According to journalist Nagendra Bista, who reached the venue, two crew members and four passengers, including two foreigners, are fine.

“The crew and passengers sustained only minor injuries,” Chief District Office Durga Dutta Dhakal said.

District Police Office dispatched a 45-member team and Nepal Army dispatched a 15-member rescue team to Rangeli, an hour on foot from Mamn, the headquarters of Kalikot.
